Here is your common garden and yard tools list. Most people that currently maintain their own lawn will note that most of the items on the list are already in their lawn tool shed. That is probably true as the list is designed for people that have not had the pleasure of maintaining their own lawn yet. It will give them a basic list of tools to help them get started. After reviewing the list and all of the costs and labor associated, it could be the beginning of the end of yard maintenance for some.

For anyone deciding not to care for their own lawn, they can always contract a professional lawn care company. There will not be a list of lawn care companies by name in this article as that is another subject all together. Because of the cost and labor factor involved in caring for your own lawn and garden, it is a given that there will be at least a few folks that decide not to enter in the endless task of lawn care.

Everyone wanting to continue with the yard project and gathering information about the basic yard and garden tools needed, I did not list the prices for the tools. That is largely because prices for even the same tools vary from store to store as well as the fact that manufacturer prices change frequently. There are just to many variables to keep up with concerning the price of all these tools. the tool prices can be found by shopping locally or on the internet. Researching the tool prices is something I recommend to everyone.

Recognize that this is not an end all list of yard and garden tools. However, it does the job of providing a good amount needed for beginning any home lawn maintenance. Once again, I realize that many of you that have been performing your own lawn care for years will have everything on the list and then some. Please remember that this list and article was designed to better inform the first time home owner of the basic yard and garden tools needed.

Make yourself familiar with all of the tools by shopping around. you will benefit by becoming more familiar with each one as you research and review them while looking for the best price. You can often obtain very detailed information about these basic yard and garden tools through internet searches. However you decide, researching prior to buying will be a great benefit to your yard and garden tool repertoire.
